So, Darrel is a HUGE X-Men fan, especially Wolverine, so he's been pretty excited about the movie coming out. I mostly just wanted to go to the premiere! I'm one of those that loves to be out and about being wild and crazy (not in a bad way of course!) with the crowds and having fun. So we're watching the premiere stuff on the news and I'm yelling at Darrel "WHY AREN'T WE THERE!" and he's yelling back "BECAUSE WE HAVE KIDS!". So then I have to get out of my fantasy world and remember that being home with my family was probably more important...right?!?!?!

I'm sorry we wanted to go too, but I guess family does come first! Well I hope that you guys get to go out on a date to go see it!
Oh I feel for you, I think every mommy does right now after reading that. I often miss the times without kids...but like you said it's really important to be with your family and being the good mommy! At least there are date nights!!!!! Thank goodness for those
we saw it opening weekend and people had their little kids with them! i kept worrying about the *spoiler* violence and nudity with those kids around and didn't get to enjoy the movie as much. glad you stayed home with your kids. :)
